Senior Citizens Party Fund

Party Fund Committee

This committee, set up in 1972, undertakes the responsibility to provide an annual party for all senior citizens, widows and widowers in the Parish of Great Milton. The party is held on the Saturday after Easter in the Neighbours Hall when guests are treated to a roast turkey meal followed by an evening of entertainment. In 1991 the committee decided that funds were sufficient to allow a coach to be hired for a “day at the seaside”. This situation remains to this day with the trip being held on the first Saturday of August each year.

Fundraising is carried out throughout the year with the main fundraiser being the Harvest Festival which is held at The Bull Inn on the first Saturday in September.
The committee meets each month at The Bull Inn to plan to fundraise.
